As I begin my first year as Principal here, I am extremely excited and energized, deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of your children and our staff. We can accomplish this together, as we set high academic expectations for all children, as well as provide supportive avenues for this to take place. As a staff, we are dedicated to YOUR child’s safety and success in all areas of life. It is our motto that we will “Stay Positive, Work Hard, and Make It Happen!” We are entering a school year like no other. These are uncharted times in our lives, but we are committed to keeping life as normal as possible for everyone. As we embrace this challenge of the future, we will continue to celebrate success for every child, as well as continue to socialize children whenever and however possible. Our remarkable staff, involved and supportive parents, and committed students will all come together and work as one. Please rest assured that we are taking preventative measures at school to help lessen the effects of spreading germs and viruses. We have implemented a more frequent and tedious cleaning and sanitization of bathrooms and the lunchroom/gym specifically, but we are also taking measures to decrease touch points, such as classroom door handles, by leaving inside classroom doors open. These are just 2 examples. I have sent multiple emails through the summer with more details, and will continue to send emails as updates are available.
